Pet Relocation
Safe, Legal, and Stress‑Free Reptile Export Services
Why Reptile Export Requires a Specialist

Reptiles cannot be taken in your luggage or shipped internationally through couriers like FedEx or postal services. Doing so is illegal and can result in severe penalties, including fines, confiscation of your animals, and possible jail time.
All reptile exports must be:
• Declared to and inspected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) at the airport
• Compliant with federal, state, and international regulations, including:
o CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)
o Endangered Species Act (administered by USFWS)
o State and local wildlife laws
• Declared to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Navigating these rules on your own can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to.
Our Expertise
Worldwide Reptile Logistics provides safe, legal, and fully compliant export services for personal pet reptiles. We handle the entire U.S. export process, including:
• USFWS inspection and eDec filing
• Health certificates
• USDA endorsement
• U.S. Customs and Border Protection report filing
• Any additional required documentation
Your reptile will travel as airline cargo, the only legal method for international reptile transport.
What Happens When Your Pet Arrives
Once the shipment reaches your destination country, it must be picked up at the airport and cleared through customs. Import procedures vary by country, so we recommend contacting the local customs authority for guidance.
Many countries allow private individuals to complete the import process themselves. If professional assistance is needed, we can often recommend trusted import agents we’ve worked with.
Shipping Your Reptile to Us
We are based in California, but we assist clients nationwide. If you’re not local, we’ll guide you through safely shipping your pet to us via FedEx prior to its scheduled export. While the process may feel unfamiliar, thousands of reptiles and amphibians are shipped safely within the U.S. every year. We’ll provide clear instructions on packaging and timing to ensure your pet arrives safely and comfortably.
